I found a fan setup that works really well on our trucks. I bought a dual fan setup from a 91 maxima and with very little mods I have it mounted! I'll try to post pics if anyone is interested! I only paid 50 bucks for it but I'm buddys with the guys at the salvage yard! I trimed a little off each side and shaved the top mounts off and drilled new holes in the top and bottom of my radiator. I bolted the unit to the radiator with 4, 1/4 by 2 1/2 bolts.

i bought a 16 inch fan from the local parts store and bought some metal from an air duct shop and made my own shroud. put a relay in for the power. it runs a little hot cause the drivers side air flow is all blocked off. i am about to look for some 7 inch fans to put in there

Here are mine They are pull offs off city of phoniex trucks they upgrade oil coolers and fans due to the high heat

Friend of mine managed to get a pallet of new pull off oil coolers with these 16" and 10" fans installed I was getting them for 20 a pair for awhile I ended up getting four pair and sold quite a few for 45 a piece.

Blue Beard I don't know they have 4 wires per fan from just playing with them with my jump box I can tell you they are at least dual speed. 1 of the fans is 4 blade and 1 is 5 blade. I am going to a friends shop and check out the wiring on the maxima.

I haven't mounted the bottom yet I am planning on looking for a core support today.

The fuel cell and filter got mounted yesterday also now it time for lots of steel braid and aluminum fittings. I can't wait to get the tank out from behind the seat so I can mount my 2000 silverado 40/20/40 seat! It should help the weight transfer too.

I installed a set of dual electric fans from a TPI Trans Am. To install them so they pushed air rather than pull it, I had to open the motor up, cut out the diode that was installed by GM, then put a new diode in in the "right" direction. Diodes are important so the fan doesn't send any energy back up the line to your fan relay / computer (in my case) as they act like alternators if they are spinning without having any energy put into them.

I gotta move the left one over a bit, somehow I managed to mis measure where I had to drill my holes,

I like how clean electric fans look, and they help with mileage some too (between converting to 454 TBI EFI and adding electric fans on my '72 I gained almost 4 MPG with a lead foot).

I live in minnesota so heat wasnt too big of a concern, even in the summer...I got a 16" electric fan from ebay for $59, and just zip-tied it thru the 4-core radiator, and had no problems to speak of.
