is there any pitting of the chrome or fading of the blue?

I don't see any pitting, just some scratches on the outer part.

The blue doesn't seem to be faded, the clear lens over it is a bit dirty. A few small scratches on the clear lens part. I held it up to the light, and did see some clear light spots coming thru the blue part. So, that might mean some of the blue has come off the back. Really not noticeable from the front. I personally, think it looks good. It is used, that's why I started it at only $5.
