Another Alternator Question

I have had this proform alternator for about a year. The last few days I have noticed it is making kind of a whine or howl at idle it is still putting out a really good charge.

Do they do this sometimes or should I be concerned?

is your battery bad? If its spinning and working hard to charge a dead battery it will squeal.

yes, its cheap you could do it yourself if you have access to a press, its real easy. If not I would take it apart and bring in the housing. they should be able to do it in like 10 minutes if they are slow.
