'67 hood vs '68 hood

I know that I want to go with '67 front fenders...I know I could use '68 and fill the holes, which if it comes down to it, I will...

So, I need a '67-'68 rad support...right?

but, what is the difference in the two year hoods? I know I like the sloped hood better than 69 on...but...what is the difference between those two year hoods...and are 67-68 front end parts interchangeable?

With the exception of the marker lights on 68.

I think the only difference in '67/'68 hoods is the chrome trim on the leading edge of all '68s. It's only cosmetic. '68 original hoods have little holes in the front for the chrome strip retainers. You'd need to fill them in too, to get the '67 look. I used to think '67s used a higher grade of sheet metal than '68, but since I've had one of each, I can say they are the same grade.
I like the clean look of a straight '67 nose.
