I Think Im Doing It...

Well, i think im doing it. Tomorrow, monday, im gonna empty my wallet on a FBSS air ride kit from *****************. its a FBSS 1/2" fill, 3/8" dump kit. Here are some pics of what it should look like. Ill keep ya posted with pics throughout the whole process. Anyone have any suggestions or comments, please let me know. Thanks. Oh yeah, keep in mind, its all flat black now, and power window kit, bear claw latches should be here this week, so i can install the window kit and autoloc shaved door handle kit, so you might see some door work also. And found some fenders too.

right on , Im putting a 4 link and a drop member in mine over winter , Im on air in the back right now but its a weak setup Ive got goin on , im hopin for some 18 and 20's too here a chop of how it should sit too

I forgot that panel F'in rocks man IM chopping my spare cab 4 inches , right now for somthing to do , Ill probably end up building a full primer custom out of all my spare parts I like your sig. im 21 and real funny when old guys don't beleive Ie done everything on this myself and a bunch of other mods on a few trucks cruisng around town

i did it

Well, i did it. Empty wallet, but 24hr grin on my face. I went through streetissuecustoms.com, doug, hes a very nice guy, hooked me up well. This is what ill be running.

8 3/8" SMC valves

60-87 front bag brackets

4 slam specialties RS-series bags

2 200 psi dual needle guages

12 gallon tank

2 viair 450c's

Pressure switch (175 psi)

complete fitting kit (valves near bags)

50 feet of 1/2" air line

50 ft of 1/8" air line (for gauges)

10 switch box.

Should keep me satsfied. Be on the lookout, and alot of posts asking questions. Any recommendations on stuff i should do while swappin over to a 72-ish front suspension?

If you havent got the good allready , go with 72 - 87 front suspension just change out all 4 controll arms and all steering linkage , reasoning, WAY CHEAPER , drop spindles are cheaper , all replacement parts ie tie rods balljoints etc are alot more common and alot cheaper , plus the newer style control arms have the better bushings in em .

Well, i hope you all enjoy the pics, i know i sure do!!! I got the 3" spindles on, got 205/75/15 tires on it, have the engine and tranny in it, recessed the bumper 1/2", flipped my ECE tranny crossmember over and dropped the center 1&1/4" to match the 4" Z and so have room for exhaust, got the TA x-member in, got it all ground and painted, cut a good sized hole in the core support for my steering box, and so its all good. Got my box tubing for the rear so i should get that going. Enjoy!

Slammed66 Im gonna stick with TA with 2-3" blocks and a big notch that extends forward to clear the arms so i can lay frame.

some new pics, it sits lower though, it lays full rocker as the tranny tunnel was on the tranny... hope you like em
