Engine brackets question

Hi Gang,
Ths just dawned on me today. I was talking to my brother-in-law about engine brackets for accessories, then it hit me. I need a special bracket for using the generator/alternator on the drivers side header. Where can I pick one of these up at? Also how do you have your powersteering pumps mounted on the front of your V8's? The one I got will mount just to the right (looking at front of engine) of the long waterpump. Would these to be to close togther?
TIA,
David

If your heads have accesory bolt holes, use a 69-72 alternator bracket. They are way better than the exhaust mounted aftermarket junk.

If you are going to use the long waterpump powersteering pump...you need to use the 73 up long waterpump alternator bracket...mounts on the passenger side

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the replies. The drivers side head has 3 bolt holes in it, and the passenger side only has 1 bolt hole. Longhorn Man, you got a PM.
Thanks Again,
David

PM responded. The drivers side with 3 holes will work. Like I said, I'll see if I can't get some pics.

Not trying to hijack, but I have a question, on a/c trucks which side does
the alternator go on which side does the a/c go on a/c pass, alt dr
I think my alt. is on the wrong side, wiring is all new and it looks wrong

All 67 - 72 small block trucks had the alt on the drivers side as original. The A/C compressor is up high on the passenger side, the power steering is low on the drivers side...and I have NFC where the smog pu,p would be...I've only seen one mounted, and I have no recollection of where it goes.

Smog pump goes low on the pass side I think. It's been a while since I seen one,but it's the only logical place
