I have recently restored a 67 chevy C10 small rear window cab. I pretty much did a frame off resto. Ill start with the mods from the back to front. It has a blank tailgate, new oak bed with polished s/s strips and bolts, a 4/11 rear end with adjustable panhard bar and 4" springs with 2" blocks. Inside of the cab it has a full custom autometer guage set with s/s faceplate. I put in a custom interior with headliner. I also have an alpine stereo system with 250W amp and 10" type E sub. I have all new chrome bumpers and front grille stuff. I also did the disk brake conversion with power brakes in the front with 2.5" ece spindles and 2" lowering springs. As for the engine, it is a rebuilt 350 stroked out to a 383 with about 2,000 miles on it. It currently has hooker competition headers with dual 2.5"exhaust and 40 series flowmasters. It also has performer rpm intake and performer 600cfm carb. I will most likely be putting in a pete jackson gear drive and a larger cam. As for the paint, it is a base/clear PPG paint. i just wanted to know what you guys think it owuld be worth if i were to sell it with the new engine parts.

more pics. i forgot that it also has a soft tonneau cover without drilled holes. it has the rail system

Yeah, don't install a gear drive, it will be harder to sell.

randy, why do you say not to install a gear drive. what are the cons to one. i thouoght it would make it easier to sell if i put one on to up the "coolness" factor.

It is worth all you can get, very cool truck indeed just curious where did the dash bezel and guages come from and what is the general cost on that set up ? Caught my eye and would like to copy that in my ride Mike

Mike, i got the faceplate custom made in my hometown from a company that makes heating fixtures. I just gave them my dash and they cut out the shape, then i took it home and measured where i wanted my holes and what size i wanted them and then they drilled the holes out for me. The gauges are from Jegs and they are Autometer. All together with the faceplate and gauges, i spent about $500, but it is the first thing anybody notices when they come in the truck, and everyone has liked them so far.

Most people actually don't care for them, so your truck will only appeal to the ones that do. Your truck looks very nice and should be fairly easy to sell, you don't have to try making it any cooler.

That truck is so custom that, in my opinion, it is worth what you can get the guy standing there in front of you to pay. To some people the modifications you have made are great, to some they are crap, to most somewhere in between.
My suggestion would be to ask what you have in the truck, cash money only (you'll never be able to get anything for the time and labor you've put in), and be willing to negotiate.

good looking ride, custom look, my guess is around $8,000 to $11,000 due the custom look rather than stock.but I'm no expert.
