Junkyards in Va. N.C. area
Any junkyards with older trucks or cars in them in southern Va.
Northern North Carolina area? Headed to Martinsville for the race and will have a little time to kill?

All the yards are picked over. Nothing worth looking at. A 15 min drive from the track is a store that sells new & used antique & classic car & truck parts. it's worth looking. The name & number is Scott's Antique & Classic cars & parts 276-629-7878. Anywhere close to Martinsville the phone call is a local number.
As you are driving down 220 south (about 7 miles from the track) turn right on 57 west for about 8 miles the Scott's will be on the right. he's open til 5:00 on friday & 12:00 on Saturday. |

Thanks Ira. I usually stop there cause we stay at
Fairy Stone State Park. It is a nice shop and pretty well stocked. I've purchased some chome parts there in the past. Also bought some stuff from Sinclair parts towards Danville but don't know if he is still in business? Thanks again!!

I lived in Greensboro NC for a while. That antique car place is the only one I can think of in the area directly around Martinsville. If you drive out towards Mt. Airy there may be a few, but I don't think it'd be worth the drive.

Bamm 24, nothing pressing right now. I have most of the
big stuff I need to get started with. Later on I will need a wiring harness for a V-8. Been looking for a set of deep dish 6-lug original type wheels in case I want to go that route with the hubcaps. A friend and I are coming that way and just thought there may be something down that direction to check out. If its like up here they are far and few between. Thanks!!
