Question Door Panel Question

Will door panels off of a 72 truck fit onto the 67-71's?? They look about the same size, but not sure of the fit. Thanks!

Yes, if you'll convert your doors over to 72 type regualtors and door latch controls. The 72 has longer shafts.

Slight differences in clips/ screws on bottom edge of panel too.

Thanks TX...was watching some on Ebay, was hoping they would work. I guess I will have to keep watching for some of the good ole metal ones for the '68.

Will the earlier style (flat metal) fit on the later styles? I have a 72 with the hard plastic formed door panels and was just wondering if the earlier door panels would fit.

Yes, but you too will need to change your door controls and regualtors too the earlier pre 71 shorter shaft ones.

You could put the later ones on the 67 - 71 doors, but you'd have to drill holes in the lower portion, and if you didn't swap out the parts listed above, tehy's look silly sticking out an extra inch or so.
