Dually Bed

Has anyone ever put a standard LWB bedside on a dually bed? If so, how did you do it? Thanks Tim.

are you talking about instead of the dually fenders or what? if you are putting the dually fenders back on they would be the same except you would probably have to cut the wheel well opening to allow the tires to fit. thats the only difference in the actual bedsides. if you are just gonna run the fleetside bed it might look a bit funny and without cutting there might be some clearance issuses. i have seen what appears to be a cab and chasis with long wide bed on it. looks pretty good, but i am not sure if the fenders are tubbed or not, but he has duals under the bed in the wheel wells.....

I'm talking about replacing a rusty dually bedside and modifying the standard bedside to accept the dually fender without it looking like some idiot did it. Thanks again.

It seems like that is all that the factory did. Use the fender as a template, and cut out what you need. As long as it is covered by the dually fender you should be fine.

that's exactly what the factory did, there is no replacement dually bedside available, nor was there ever. just take a regular fleetside bedside and hack er up!

That's the fender they're talking about. It's a separate piece.
