Thumbs up Pictures of my freebie 70 K5

I think I finally got the pictures of my K5 posted. Anyone wants to see them go to www.msnusers.com/70bronzebeauty. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I included some pics of the underside for those trying to put one back together. Tell me what you think. Thanks-

Some elderly friends of mine moved off their ranch. I've beentrying for 4 years to get them to sell it to me-when they put the ranch up for sale, they gave it to me. Last oil change 1998 driven 300 miles since then, all by me. Any idea what its worth on the open market

Wow, that is an excellent deal. Free is my favorite price. What do you plan to do with it?

See if I can link the photo...

Good deal, Not in bad shape either. As for a Asking Price, I'm not sure where you would start.

Great find--everybody's dream to find a solid piece and get it for free. Value--i would tend to put it in the $2-3,000. range---more on the east coast. Does show some very minor rust damage (rocker upper edge) but most guys would kill for one this solid. I would start the search for a nice replacement steering wheel and brake out the can of POR15 to cover the floors in anticipation of a frame on restoration. You must be in Colorado or somewhere close for it to be this decent---! I even like the color but might want to trade out those utility buckets for the sport buckets/console but then again, with my butt I might be better off with those!! hehehehe

You got that for free.... Wish I could stumble upon something like that. What are those 2 black things above the back windows?

2 black things above rear windows

UNFORTUNATELY PO used this as a hunting rig. Those are dovetail mounts for an awning! They go all the way through the top to another bracket on the inside. Wish they hadn't done that, but WTF.

Free Blazer

Why do you want to sell it?
Or are you just trying to figure out just how good of a deal you really got?
Nice score, congrats.

The reason for asking its value, is so I can insure it at "stated Value", not what some jerk claims adjustor thinks an "old" truck is worth!

I am in Gunnison Colorado, the "icebox". I can drive less than 10 miles in any direction and be wheelin in the mountains. Just drive west on HWY 50 and stop when you think you dropped off the edge of the earth-then you will be in Gunnison.
