Cheapest way would be
3" DJM Coils = $250
2" Summit Springs = $90

5" DJM Flip Kit = $90
2" Summit Shackles = $50

Then, get some summit dropped truck shocks, prolly $40 a pop. If you wanna go the SUPER cheap route, then do:

Summit 3" Springs = $100
DJM 5" Flip Kit = $90

Yup, thats what I did....with shocks it ran about $350 or so delivered. Its the cheapest and the easiest to install IMO....all bolt on and completely reversible. Took about 3hrs to install.

heres a pic of the stance.

Your truck sits level now? maybe your front springs are sagged or heated-up to lower....thats odd.

Front pan and rear are from www.customclassic.com and yes some minor trimming is required.

Cheapest way, flatten the tires!!

Just kidding. I agree with Timspeed, that is the stuff I used to get my Blazer down 5" front and rear. Only I used Belltech shocks because they make a 6" drop for the rear which gives a bit more travel.

October TOM.

The CHEAPEST way is to cut the front springs (not exactly safe or comfy to ride but it'll be low), and get an el-cheapo hanger set from Autozone. But the less money you spend, the more ride quality is gonna suffer.

A friend of mine with a 78 C10 lowered his truck the cheap way...
He cut the front springs a full coil (off the bottom). He had the entire spring in a bucket of icewater and he used a sawzall. He then made some "custom" rear hangers, and removed a leaf. Twas bout a 3/5 drop.

Lowering blocks only work if your springs are under the axle from the factory, and those cheap lowering shackles are for like toyotas, thats basically mini-truck items.

I cut the front springs on mine in a chop saw, quick, easy, cheap & UNSAFE!

Hangers are for the front of the leaf spring, shackles are for the rear.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

You do realize that the shackle flip is much more expensive and time consuming than the doing the axle/spring flip?

I hope that "Spring Tech" kit isn't really made by AIM/Chassis Tech because it looks like that.

I said I hope it ISN'T actually an AIM/Chassis Tech product. Terrible service and products.

well if you compare the hangers the ones i bought are squared off and if you look at aim they are rounded i really dont forsee any problems being the items are so simple if it were spindles i would be a little more hesitant
