Thumbs up Who was the fabulous GM design team that created our body style?

Is there any GM history buff's that know of any publications/magazines/articles showing or naming the people who created the 67-72 PU body styles? Or the history of how they came about designing it? Pic's of model mockups etc etc.

The GM archives at GM I imagine would have stuff like this; don't know if it would be accessible to the public though.

The board should get a picture of that "gang" and forever memorialize them by putting their picture up in the left hand corner of the web pages! Heh.

There was a thread on here awhile back with cool pics. Somebody should chime in with the link. I have the magazine article somewhere with some of the concept pics.

Classic Trucks May of 2003 is the issue in question. Mine is packed away, but I had a look at Classic Trucks web site and it said Harry Bentley Bradley is the man to thank.

According to an article in Classic Trucks magazine,July 04 the guys name was Harry Bently Bradley.Apparently he's still alive. The article is about shaving drip rails and came out just in time to save my a$$. My truck was still in a thousand pieces at the time and I thought I might just have at the drip rails with a sawzall. After I saw what was involved I figured it was just a little over my head.

A little off track here, but does anyone know how we can get copies of back issues of Classic Trucks?

Thanks,
