Looking for short stepside in or near Ks.
Okay, I'm lookin for a good daily driver that I can make into my next project.doesn't necessarly have to run. cab corners and rocker rust not that big an issue, but would like the truck to be fairly straight. any prospects whithen a couple hundred miles of S.E. Kansas , ie: missouri,oklahoma or ark.

I seen a short step for sale heading west out of Americus,(small town nw of Emporia) last weekend. Didnt have time to stop and check on price though. Looked like a daily driver to me. Might be worth a try, Greg

I know where there are a couple down here one by stroud,ok/ wynona,ok/ pawhuska,ok/ also 70 shortbed in burlington,ks How far does your pocket book stretch? So i can see if one will suit your needs! There is also a 67c10 longbed in Coffeville,KS also i beleive it is a 67 gmc(small window) there to about a block apart. They are longbeds tho. Ill try to get you some numbers if you get me a price!

gregsplace thanks, I may try and swing by there tomorrow as the wife and I will be going to Wichita. Moodybo, I'd like to keep it under 2500 and it definatly has to be a short step.

I have this 68 short step for sale. 307,TH350, power steering and brakes, some rust in rockers and cab corners, floor and cab supprorts and mounts are all good and solid. I would like to get $3000 for it, but am open to offers. I also have a good fleetside bed if that interests you at all.

Dang thats too nice an original truck for what I want to do, I'd hate to ruin it's character. but I'll keep it in mind if something else doesn't come along.
