Bracket help

I need help, I don't have much hair left to pull out. Trying to put my 69 back together. It had a cobbled up mess for front brackets on the engine, along with a short water pump. I went back to a long pump and am stumped as to what to do for brackets. Switching to newer alternator, which should be on the left (driver's side). Will also be putting on a/c, am figuring a small compressor. Truck also has power steering.

What would be a good route to go for brackets. Edelbrock heads with drilled and tapped holes and headers. Any suggestions, I'm out of ideas unless I start building my own, and that will take too long.

Fred, 69-72 trucks used short pump sets originally.

73 up through mid 80s trucks will have long pump setups. But, like Andy said, the alternator will be on the passenger side that way. If you want driver's side alternator, you're going to need to use short pump setup.

If you not going with OEM I would look at Alan Grove and what they have for Brackets.

They have more than a few neat brackets.
