Hand Throttle help
I just got a hand throttle set-up and need some information on where to mount the bracket that is attached to the cable- looks like it might attach under the dash but not sure. Any help is appreciated. Harold

The 71-72 style attaches to the gas pedal bracket on the inside of the firewall. I am not sure how the bracket attaches on the rod style accelerators.
I can take a pic of a 72 style if that is what you have. Jim |

I have the 71-72 style. Everything is there but it has a funky bracket that the cable is clamped to and I don't know where it bolts to. Any pics you have would help alot. Thanks Harold

Hi Harold, I have two trucks with the same throttle set up. the funky bracket goes up under the dash to hold the cable. If needed give me a shout and I will also snap a few PICs. Mike

This is a pic of the factory 72 throttle setup. The cable mounts to the accelerator pedal bracket as can be seen.
