Wanted: Shift pointer housing to fit a 70 non-tilt

REVISED!! I mean the shift pointer housing, not the indicator.

The shift pointer housing on my 70 4x4 has been broke for years. The ears broke off, then it broke around the screw. Anyone have an extra they want to part with?

BTT. Revised to say that I meant the SHIFT POINTER HOUSING, not the PRND12 indicator. My bad

is your PRND21 deal the short chrome one...or the taller plastic one? (it'll dictate which pointer you need)
Do you need the fiber optic cable too?
Are you willing to chainge to the taller style if all the parts are included? (I think you should have the short chrome one)

Andy,

It is the chrome one. I have the optic cable, that all works fine. If they are a direct swap, I'll put whatever works on there. I'm just tired of the broken one sticking up by the optic cable

Whatcha got??

Bob

I'll have to go to *her* house, so it won't be untill tomorow at the soonest, but I think I have a couple of the 71/72 (and later in vans) set ups. If I do, I know it'll be bmack, all clean and nice, bright red pointer...ect. Not show, but damn nice.
I figure 15 to your door.
I'll look...I might have the pointer you actually need too. I remember getting one in a junk yard in New Orleans last X-mas...and I knoe I never sold it...but I haven't seen it for at least 6 or 7 months.
It was kinda sad condition, had a crack which i think I repaired with super glue and made it look like the damage was never there. (I may be thinking of another one I already sold though) I do know the one I have (somewhere) is a light blue/gray in color. If I have it, and it is presentable, I'll give it to you for 5 bucks.
Let me try to get over there tomorow and see what I can do for you.
