Even though this site is for 60-66 GMCs, they have a great deal of info on the GMC V6. It's the only site I can think of right off that would have the info you want.

I used that site reference and ordered my carb/adapter from Jegs. I just had the heads rebuilt, an am looking forward to getting it all back together and (finally!) driving my GMC.

I believe this is a 351 V6 . It has a new process 4spd with spicer aux. trans Low and high range. HO52 rear with 5.13 locker. 18 inch rims and is a calif. truck. Its not as bad as it looks. Cab mounts are solid, corners are soild too. just needs doors, rockers and front end stuff.

I just put a 79 Buick HEI in my 305 V6 and it runs really smooth. I used a 3D modeler to design and modify all the different parts. All the information and machine drawings are on the 60-66 Web page.

Re: gmc V6 info needed
I kept getting the deja vu vibe on this thread, and now that I'm at the bottom, I know why.
Oh and GM actually made 305, 351, 379, 401, 432 and a 478 cu in versions of the V-6.
