what paint for plate
i was towing a trailer this weekend and banged my license plate pretty badly. no bid deal except they are original '71 texas truck plates i bought at an auto show.

Put the front plate in the back, and toss the bent up plate under the seat. If you get pulled over, tell them that some jetk backed into your front bumper at wall mard and broke your plate holder and did this (this is when you show him your kerfagled plate) to my lic plate.
Front plates suck anyways. Now you can take your time to figure out what color/blend/ect paint to use on your vintage plate. |

I would do the same thing. I run original year plates on all of my vehicles, without one on the front.
Never a problem. BTW, my 1970 Texas truck plates use a funny reflective looking white paint.
