Subwoofer in truck w/o gas tank removal?

Has anybody attempted to put a sub in their truck without having the gas tank taken out? I have a set of buckets out of a 2000 chevy fullsize. I just thought I'd ask.

thanks,

There's been a few ppl here who put them under the seat...i don't quite see how, but they've done it. The fact that you have different seats in there is like a big 'ole friggen stick in the spokes.
Measure how much space you have under the seats and see if it is feasable.

I saw a truck mag that put subs in plywood boxes in the floor.....they were under the carpet...mounted so your feet would be right on them...looked pretty cool

I built a wodden box 12x13x6 and mounted an MTX 10" in it.It fits right under the passenger side of the factory bench seat, and I still have partial movment of the seat.It is limited though, and the sub does shake the seat, and whoever sits on that side of the truck
It sounds good, but a bigger box would be great. But whatcha gonna do <shrugs>
