I'm still looking for a decent 67-72 parts truck to convert the truck in my avaitar to a 4X4 (the old 2wd doesn't get driven much as we moved way out in the sticks) I would perfer a non-modified truck/frame and axles that i could throw the body away and set my body on. Please post or pm me if you can help me find one.

Nope, he used to but he leased on to an outfit in Iowa now. He would probably sell it ... but it would depend on the price with him, as he would probably want to sell the whole truck and not just the frame. as it's completely tore down waiting to be restored.

Sorry David, I haven't found any 4x4's, there was a 71 4x4 in the KC star a week ago, I called but it already sold. Good luck, I'll watch for you!!

I'm so ticked off at that truck, the drive line have been acting up and i hate to put money into a 2wd truck when i really need (want) a 4X4

You should see the green one in all her glory, I ended up putting in a "better" grill than she had, had a new 2 1/2 inch exhaust put on and the brakes fixed and put some nice hubcaps on her, she looks about twice as good as when you sold her to me, but still leaves a little to be desired.

I just got done looking at a 1970 1/2 4x4 , newer 350 GM goodwrench crate motor, 30 miles on a brand new carb, 4 speed, he said it needs some rearend work but has a posi rear, also needs brake booster, has a clean interior with factory am radio and headliner, seat has a new cover and he said he has a new dash pad to go with it. It was kind of dark but it looked to have a really nice grille and not to bad of a body, it has wagon wheels but had a set of aluminum wheels in the bed. I was thinking of buying since I need a grille but dont want to drag a whole truck home just for that. He said he would like to get 1100.00 but I think he would probably come down to 850 or 900 , if you want I can get you some pics.

Sounds like just what i need, are you going to buy it, take what you want and sell the rest to me, or were you just passing it along to me? If you can get some pics, that would be great with me, but dont' go to any extra work on my behalf.

How far is ST Joe from KC?
