Wont the 68-71 style mounts work.
I have been told that the 67 was not available with a big block, but the the other mounts should bolt right up. There is also a FAQ written by TXFirefighter (I think) about using the newer model mounts on our style trucks. Regards, Stacey |

My FAQ only covers 68-72 big block mounts. There are two types as Frank posted above. Each has it's pros and cons. I used the 68-71 style because they are cheaper up front to buy and they were right for my 70 model.
The article should clear up any questions. I don't see why any of these mounts won't work on a 67, they work on a 68 and I don't know of any differences in that area.

From what I have heard, the frame is slightly different on the 67's. It is wider on the top portion of the C and the frame will need to be trimmed to make room for a bigblock and it's exhaust manifolds. I don't know if headers help it any.
