As the urban legond goes... there was a carb invented in the 1920's that ran on water or something like that, but the oil company's bought the patent and prototype and has it sitting in a vault somewhere.

Never heard the water one, but, and again, urban legond as far as I know, there was a 100MPG carb made way back when, and the oil companys bought it and destroied it.

After DR. Rudolf Diesel developed the diesel engine which ran on peanut oil he strangley disappeared? Then the petroleum industry capitalized on the diesel engine buy fueling it with a cheaper dirty fuel from the gasoline distillation process byproduct
( Diesel ) fuel is born. Vegetable oil was soon swept under the rug and the pollution and depletion of fossil fuels begins its rampage of this earth. It all boils down to the love of money, (GREED) If this gas saver was for real, the OIL giants would have squashed it for sure!

back in the 60's a man drove cross country in a full size chevy. He went cross country on only 10 gallons of gas. Strangly enough when he finished the race he disappeared and so did his car. Oil companies will do anything so they dont lose money, this country is to dependent on oil.

I just can't see having to cut a hole in my hood to fit that "thing" in there....unless it was billet or chrome......

Lesson learned here.
In other words don't put a bid in for this thing and front the money because the seller will most certainly disappear. :p

Can you believe someone actually bid on this thing!
Wait a sec. My dad is restoring a 39 Ford and has the Flathead sitting in his garage. I need to ask him for my inheritance! Last edited by chevytruckfan; 11-29-2004 at 08:35 PM. |
