70 k20 front frame crossmember replacement

are all 67-72 front frame croosmembers the same? at some point in this trucks life someone had hooked the end of a chain (i believe) to it and tried to pull something that obviously would not move. where the rivets go through the crossmember and the frame, the crossmember steel has been torn. what crossmembers from what years will fit? are k10 and k20's the same? what could i expect to pay for one of these?

They are all the same for 1/2 and 3/4 ton. I put a crossmember from a 68 C-10 into a 70 K-20, it bolted right in. As far as cost goes, I wouldn't think much more than 5-10 bucks, they're not hard to find.

thanks for the quick response guys. i have a 71 c20 parts truck that i need to pick up and was wondering if it would fit. Is it better to bolt it in with grade 8 bolts or get some factory style rivets?
