Thinking about selling

Been thinking of selling my truck and need some help figuring out value. It's a 72 Custom Deluxe 20 Custom Camper with Highlander option. The cab is in better than average condition, it needs rockers and cab corners that come with the truck. Cab mounts are perfect but could use new bushings. The bed is a 69 bed with 2 rust through holes in the rear corners by tailgate. The drivetrain consists of a 66 396 with about 2000 miles on rebuild but had sat for a few years. An 86 700R4 trans and a Dana 60 rear with 4:10 gears. The truck needs a little body work as in core support, fenders that come with truck and doors. Pics of the truck can be seen here http://community.webshots.com/album/62428177KyHPfo

I'M SURE SOMEONE FROM BACK EAST COULD GIVE YOU A BETTER IDEA. OUT WEST HERE THAT WOULD BE A PARTS TRUCK & BRING MAYBE $700-$1000, & WITHOUT THE 396....... IT WOULD BRING MAYBE 1/2 OF THAT. I'M SURE IT WOULD BRING MORE BACK EAST WHERE YOU COULD SELL IT AS A BUILDER. JOHN

Hey special-K, the truck had a 6.2 diesel in it that my uncle installed before I got the truck from him. I would of kept the diesel in it but it majorly overheated and screwed up the engine so I swapped in a big block.

Mike Files, that is what this post is about, trying to figure out a value.

green68c10, where are you located?

If it's only worth $1000 -1500 I'll just keep it and finish fixing it up...

MEMBER LJBEAR HAS IT FOR SALE FOR $1100. EVEN IF SOMEONE BACK EAST PAYS $1000 SHIPPING, IT STILL LOOKS LIKE A MONEY MAKER. JOHN

posted truck

Posted 72 also has factory air conditioning. Does it happen to have the 72 ac brackets and the 72 stock alternator brackets and BB PS setup? All these things add to the value.

Don't worry about it John. I'm pretty tough skined. I also know out your way my truck would probably be parted, but for the east coast it's in better than average condition. I think I might have to take Randy's advise and hang on to the old girl. I guess now I'll have to start playing the lottery.LOL...
