i agree, bad ass truck, more front suspension pics. also, am i the only one that looks like there isnt much room for travel in the trailing arm crossmember's driveshaft loop?

Looks like a pretty big hole to me.

Actually its has way more room than it needs. Truck has a two piece driveshaft.

ok, that makes sense. I was just comparing it to stock loops and my loop on my ECE trailing arm crossmember. 2-piece... that explains it.

How bad is that notch gonna mess up your bed? I was thinking of raising my floor about 3 in., because I still want to be able to use it, and don't want a huge bridge in the way.

i was wondering how much of a Z that is and did you just put 3 joints and a heim in your steering shaft or what? im thinkin like 3" but not sure

ok, im thinking about this frame Z-ing, heres my questions... i understand the concept and how it works, what needs to be changed though? i dont see any geometry issues, is this correct? i guess what im asking is if i throw a 4-6 drop on my 69, but i want the front lower than that, can i put a 2-3 inch z in the front end and be done with it or does this entail other things, like susp geometry, clearance issues with the susp? i dont want to bag it, for no reason other than i dont want to, but i want that amount of drop.

The reason for the bags is to get it that low with a z,and then lift it up a couple inches so You can drive it.With a 2.5" spindle 2" springs,and Z'n the frame,Yoo would be to low to drive around here without bags.

Does the hood tilting forward make the engine eazier to work on?

As soon as we finish the hood hinge I'll take some detailed pics for you guys. We are considering developing a kit for it. The hood springs are going to have to be heavier. The truck has a 2" Z and a 1.25 crossmember drop (which we do sell). The outside diameter on the tires is about 30" and the truck is hanging below the carts it is on. If you go much more than 2" you may have some radiator issues. We are just finishing up the back end I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Killer! So with all the drop combined your laying rockers. What hits the ground first now, the body or the frame? Give us as much detail as you can along the way.

hey, lets see some steering shaft pics... also, i got the ece auto tranny x-member, and i was thinking if i flipped it over, and turned the mount upside down, and sunk it into the crossmember a little bit, would that work for a 4" z???
bagged72blaz - I got it because it has the raised driveshaft loop(flat with the frame) so it wont drag, and it has holes to run 3" exhaust through. I plan to lay flat rocker or frame, and dont want things in my way.

We're notching the upper control arm for clearence works pretty good just need to do some re-enforcing I'll put up some pics when its done. The frame hits about a 32nd of an inch before the rocker. The hood looks alot worse than it really is we need to wash it.

We put the truck spring on the new hinges now it pops right open when you hit the latch.
