Anyone actually put shoulder belts in a non factory equipted truck???
I bought some 3 point seat belts for my truck even though it didn't obviously have them factory and figured I would find someway to make them work. Just wanted to see what you guys might have done...
Any help is apprecieted. Thanks!

The S-10 belts are pretty easy to install. The passenger side is a bolt in but the driver's side lower anchor point needs to be shifted forward a few inches to clear the gas tank.

I have 73-87 belts in my '68. I had to build new anchor points and modify the mounting brackets to where the pendulem was vertical. When I went to the salvage yard after s-10 belts there werent any decent ones, so I made these work.

Thanks for the reply. They went in no problem. I also modified the latch so they worked with my porsche seats that have integrated belt buckles.
Just need to get these seats re-covered in black now....

Porsche seats in a C10? That's one I haven't seen before. And you are so right. Those seats need a new color like Hillary Clinton needs regular VD tests.

I used some from an 88-96 full size chevy truck. I used the thread holes in the upper cab corner area. Not real happy with the way it looks...but functional. The contour of the plastic piece on the base where the retractor is doesn't match the contour of my floor.
Any one here have pics of installed kits from the vendors. Would like to see

If your seats aren't wrecked you might consider spraying them. They've got some amazing rattle cans for doing seats & interior parts.
