Chevy Truck Nats in Pigeon Forge

I just talked with the Rivers Landing motel and the show is planned for April 29 - May 1. Once again, I hope to have my ride there but who knows. So far the new body guy has did what he said that he would do and I am very happy with what he has done. Let me know what you guys think and if you all are going to make it.

I know I will be there. The family loves that show. Hopefully I will have my suburban there.

Isn't it just a little early to be dreaming of Pigeon Forge?? This is like getting excited about Santa in July. (and I will be making the 1200 mile trip for the 5th year in a row.)

the nats aren`t an enormous show either, so you can get around and still enjoy some scenery. if you ever go to a rod run, shades of the past, or any of those, it kind of sucks. it will take 3 hours to drive 5 miles. i just sit in a lawn chair and kick back. if we all get together we will have a blast.

I know that it is early to talk about Pigeon Forge, but I was scheduling New Year's Eve and the subject just happened to come up.

I hope I can get up there this year. So far looks good, since I'll finally be out of school. I don't think I'll have the 70 ready for it, but the 96 and I will be rumbling through again.

There is another guy that comes every year from Ontario (I think). He won it last year. Seems like it was 1300 miles, give or take a mile or two.

The first year I went I was beat out by a truck from Texas. He was at 1100 miles they said and I was at 1050.

My wife and I also make this into a weeks vacation. We get a cabin in the hills and take in all the southern hospitality. An absolute wonderful time each and every year.
