i have a 74 s/s with 2" lift block in the back and 3/4 ton coil springs up front to level. the whole truck leans 1.5" to the passenger side- front and back. what could be causing this? i was thinking possibly a bent leaf spring shackle for the back, but i have no idea what could be wrong with the front.

Broken leaf spring? Bent shackle? Frame bent?

i dont recall it leaning at all before i did the lift, and i havent done any heavy hauling with the truck so how would i have broken my leaf spring/bent my shackle/frame?

You can break a leaf with out a huge load. I would check for cracks. I didn’t know that you just put on your lift or that you didn’t just buy the truck that way. I was just throwing ideas out there for you. This may be a dumb question but do all of your shocks match. If you had one that had less travel than the others then it could hold it down on one side.

Chev, when i helped OCBAUD lower his truck his coils didnt sit right and it was lop sided, after driving it, it finally settled down into place. How long have you had this lift? also, does the height change when the gas tank is full? empty?

Make sure your coils are seated properly thats the most likely reason for your lean

the lift has been on there for probably around 7-8 months. the coils should have settled by now. i cant notice a difference when the tank is full/empty. the ride is super stiff bc of the front springs

i was also thinking about maybe putting helper springs in the back and maybe coil spring separators in just that one spring- would this be a bad temp fix to a long term problems for front and back?

my only guess would be one of your springs needed to rotate, but 7-8 months, shoulda by now. Just air up the other side, hit the switches... oh wait, thats me thats leaning, lol!
