Brought Another One Home

Made a 600 mile round trip to NJ today (11th)
I traded my wheeler for a truck with another board member.
Drove down with my wheeler on the car trailer, off loaded the wheeler and reloaded the truck, that simple, done deal.
To add icing on the cake my 9yr old daughter made her first road trip with dad today too.

This deal worked out pretty well, the truck is as it was descibed.

Nice truck. I have always liked those wheels, have a set myself in storage waiting to go on a 72 swb project if I ever get one. I am surprised more members don't use these wheels more!?!

That's great. It's always more enjoyable with the kids. The last trip I took my 9 yr old son went with me. He had a blast.

Damn Kurt, that is a sweet truck. What's in it? What needs to be done to it?

Where in NJ did you get it? Is that gonna be your new daily driver?

Have fun with that thing.

Yeah, now you got to mount a plow on the truck, to replace the one on the 4 wheeler since I see you've already got some snow to move. Nice truck BTW!

Got to spend some time checkin out the new truck, it'll need rockers at some point in time but the floor, corners and mounts are in great shape.
This truck is a "put together truck" there's a few trucks that donated parts to make it whole.
It's a 70 frame with a 72 cab/grill. The disc's were swapped over also.
It even has a tilt column.
Here's the replies in order asked:
Spencra: It's a 350/350/205 truck w/3.73 gears
Needs a little TLC but is very solid. went onto NJ just south of Port Jevise NY.
And yes, this will be my daily driver.
Brainchild: Your absolutly correct.
67CST: okay, here's more pics
Teeitup: Thanks, but I really need to stop soon
70shorty: Good Idea but not yet.
Blue Beard: Yes I will, it's a great machine.
LUV: Yep, it's officially a fleet now...
arkracing: The Trailblazer does pretty darn well, hills aren't at speed but it will do 65mph quite nicely. I think I'm at the upper range of it's capacity though. My trailer has tandem electric brakes, that helps out allot.
Here's a couple more pics showing the truck, the other is after a couple hours of "luvin"
