How many times???
I want to do an air bag setup on my 69, but I want to keep it pretty basic for now to keep the costs down. If I have a 5 gallon air tank charged at say 150psi, how many times should I be able to go up and down with that??
I don't want to hop or anything like that, I just want the smooth low ride, and I'd probably lay it out once or twice a day.

5 gal at 150 all down 4 bags it'll come all the way up once and maybe up half way again. I have about 10 gals of storage, and can come full up maybe 3 times fully. But it depends on line size and bag size also. My problem is filling the volume, I need another compressor maybe two. I don't like to wait for air psi.

I would agree too. I have two 5 gallon tanks and could get about 1.9 times out of them. The second one is close bit now quit complete...

Ok, thanks guys, I guess I'll have to go with a two tank system then. Great info here.

I think I have a little over 10 gals though. It takes about 10 minutes to air to 150 from 0psi. Need another compressor. I think they rate tanks at compressed volume not liquid volume. My tank says 7 gal. But it looks smaller than a 5 gal bucket. I also have two aluminum 4"X2' custom built tanks.
