how do i get that stupid idlerarm off!?! its an 83 2wd if that helps any

You need to get a pickle fork. If you have access to air, an air chisel with a pickle fork attachment will make quick work of it. They can be a real ***** to get off. Good luck!

Same way you did the ball joints.

Pry on the center link real hard while someone else hits it with the big hammer just like you did with the ball joints. It will pop loose.
