Look on Ebay. They are even cheaper there. I have seen them for less than $20.00...

I have been using one of those for several years now. Look at the left side of the grille.

You can get the smaller ones pretty cheap on there ($20 or so) This one is the biggest one i've seen (3" x 16"). I am looking at this one from bigbauto @ $34.99 +shipping "buy it now". If you see this size cheaper, let me know. I would love to see a pic of one of these installed on our trucks. Thanks, ......Jerry

Thought I did but cant find it. It's just mounted to the side of the radiator opening with a couple of holes to be drilled for the hoses.

Hey Mudder- instead of painting it black, why don't you just get some black tape/graphic material and cover just the stainless that shows through the grill area. You would still have that cool stainless look under the hood without it showing through the grill. Just a thought........Jerry

Wow! That looks a lot better than my red antifreeze jug with a hose duct taped to the top of it!

When I get mine,I plan to mount it on the side of the center grille brace and paint it black. My buddy just had one made just like that.

I put one on the truck, functional and looks good. The unit I bought had a smooth 3/16x1" SS tube on the bottom for the overflow hose. I did not like size or lack of hose barbs, so I machined a SS nut with a small flange, drilled the bottom of the tank to match the flange, tapped the nut to 1/4 NPT and tig welded it to the bottom and then inserted 1/4x1/4 hose barb to attach the overflow hose.

I have one of those for my 71'. Bought it on Ebay from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46096
You can go to their EBAY store and look for Overflow Tanks....they have lots of sizes.

tank
I highly recomend them we use them on most everything we build anymore- hell I even used one on my daughters gocart for a fuel cell (motor was gravity fed and it did require a few mods to the tank - and it would give about 20-30 minutes of run time). The only thing I was ever concerned with when I used as a fuel tank I was removing and replacing the cap pretty often to put fuel in it and since the cap made out of polished aluminum and the tank is stainless and it would be easy to tear the threads up, I never had a problem but it was always on my mind when I was doing it.
