CustomCamper-Is that J-yard near you in Fredericksburg? And if so, would you mind telling me where it is? I'm over at Andrews AFB, and my neighbor and I could use a little road trip for our trucks. Thanks.

Yeah Doug it's about 9 miles south of me. The name of the yard is Lou's Auto Slavage in Thornburg, It's just off exit rt95 exit 118. The big suck is they are closed Saturdays and Sundays...

How about the condition and price on the windshield and back glass trim?
Maybe same on the bumper guards. They could always be rechromed if solid.

Every time I see one of these trucks in a "yard" I'm torn between elation and despair.. Happy that I might be able to scavange some parts. And a little sad that yet another great truck has made it's last road trip... Rust never sleeps.

I95 exit 118? will I see it right off the exit? I may have to go up there sometime...do they let you walk the yard still? No one down here in Richmond seems to like people out in the yard anymore

Hey Nick it's about a half mile from the exit can't see from the interstate. Yes they do let you go through the yard and they are a great bunch of people there. If you do venture up let me know and I can meet ya there...

If the right front fender on that first one is as nice as it looks, you should take it. I really need one for mine, but I dont think shipping it here would work though. But at least around here, nice right front fenders are worth a lot.

Hey neon I looked at the fender, most of it looks good but the bottom under the trim is rusted away, I would get it and fix it but I have one with just a little surface rust that I picked up at Carlisle last year...

I picked up a saturn front end for a rebuild I did about 7-8 years ago, I think it was from Lou's. If they are the same people, they were great to deal with........Jerry
