Fuel gauge ????
I am restoring a dash for a fellow board member and it is out of a big truck 40/60 it has tandem lock/ overspeed on the red dummy lights and I cannot remember if the big truck gauge reads different than a C-10 or 20. your input would be helpful.

When I plug in the neutral safety switch on my "big truck" dash, the tandem lock light stays on all the time. I removed the bulb to shut it off. Does this type of dash need a new printed circuit for 1/2 ton truck so the wiring is correct to turn on the brake light? I have a 1971 Cheyenne 10. Thanks.

Thanks for checking, sir. I will investigate this further and start a new thread if necessary.

I can't even see where the brake light and the neutral safety switch are even related....
Mickey Mouse didn't wire your truck did he? (If you did it yourself, don't be offended....simply kidding around) |

No offense taken. I have the correct fuel guage with the correct lense for the brake light, but before I take the guage cluster out, I wanted to be sure the printed circuit is correct. Then I can trace down the reason why that bulb stays on.
The glove box light you sent me a couple months ago is working fine. Thanks.
