Harley/C10 or Chevy/Davidson
hey guys, I just picked up a sweet 68 C10 last night from Kevhill85, and I thought it would be kewl to do the Harley Davidson paint, etc. like the F-150's (only better). Do you think the 20" Harley wheels would fit & look good? I believe they are 20x9 wheels (have no idea on the BS). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think the silver and black paint theme that is used on the Ford Harley truck would be cool on one of these.
Nothin' against the black and orange, I just like the look of the silver and black. |

I was gonna go with the black/gray theme..or my mother-in-law has an anniversary edition Sportster, and it's white with silver. I thought about pulling the paint codes for it. Whatcha think? Oh, and I definitely wanna keep as much chrome as possible... most Harleys have a few pieces of chrome (hehe), and besides everyone knows that chrome makes it go faster....

IMO if your going to build an old truck as a tribute to HD then orange and black are the colors you should use on the project. Otherwise why not just slap an hd sticker on your truck the way it is and call it a Harley truck?
I think those Harley F*rd trucks look cool but they dont make me think of Harley Davidson anymore than any other truck with Harley stickers or badges on it. |

Thanks guy for the nice comments,as for the bumper guards they where painted ones in the begining alone with the bumpers. I could have went with chrome but I didnt want to break the flow of orange on the bottom line around the truck. It's not always about chrome or flashy colors, the whole project has too flow together and make since! Just like the fender decale goes with the color of the interior.

The coolest thing I've seen is a guy with way too much money that drag races harleys, has a 69 El Camino that he carries one of his street Harley in with the HD logo stiched into the door panels. Talk about a garage to drool over for a Harley nut!

Looks good but pick up a Harley Catalog and look at all the custom paint section.
