Rear disks on a 65 ??
We are rebuilding a 65 SWB with a 468 BB and want to put disk brakes on the rear.
Speedway Motors makes a nice kit but it won't fit over the truck axle flanges. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way or kit available? Dennis |

I bought a kit from GMCPauls that worked great, about the only thing I had to customize was the e brake and weld on some tabs for the flex brake lines. I have a 12 bolt truck axle in mine.

Woogeroo, thanks for the info.
I checked out the web site then called and talked with Skip. He was very helpful...as a matter of fact, I ordered a kit from them. I'll let you all know how it works. Dennis |

I worked with Skip at TSM and ordered the rear disk brake swap kit.
It arrived quickly and bolted on like a dream. The drivers side backing plate flange was warped a litte but after straightening it on the housing (should read as...beating it with a big hammer!) all went well. I feel like it was well worth the money spent. Check them out at www.tsmmfg.com, I would buy from them again. Dennis |
