72 Long Fleetside Bed -- Must Sell Asap

I have been forced to get this bed out of my dads shop. If it's not gone by this weekend (January 15-16), it will go to the wrecking yard. I'm asking $250, but ANY reasonable offer will be accepted. It's very straight, with only slight surface rust (it's originally from an Arizona truck). No major dents, just a few dings.

Somebody buy this thing, I hate to see it go to waste!

Located in Kilgore, Texas. Two hours east of Dallas.

I'd take it off your hands but Texas just doesn't work for me.

With all of the board members in or around the Texas area, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be gone by dinner time.

I could get $1000 for that here in New England, then another $150 or so for the tailgate. Supply and demand really does drive the market.

Oh well.

I'm pretty broke after Christmas, but could use the tailgate, and have room for the bed. Is the gate bowed? How is the inside of the gate? If you would, send me your phone #, and I'll try to call you tonight. Thanks

Like you said, supply & demand. Still, I could get at least $300 for it around here. Wish I had it.

Todd, How is your truck coming along, post a pic if you can. I thought that bed would have been sold long ago. I could have sold it a few more times here. Good luck.

Chuck-

Progress on the frame has been going reasonable well, although things have slowed down since I don't have an equipped shop to work in anymore. Everyone who sees the cab I got from you can't believe how clean it is (or the trip I made to get it). Pics of the frame can be seen in the airbag install guide I wrote (in the FAQs section).

All in all, things are moving forward, just not as fast as I'd like!

Todd
