What year is my frame?
My Suburban has been set on a newer frame, 80's I was told. how do I know for sure, I want to go buy some brakes. I'll take the shoes/pads with me to auto parts, but I thought there was a vin somewhere on the frame to know for sure.

You'd have to pull the tub off to find the frame vin... It'd be easiest simply to take the brakes with you...
