Ooops, sorry, just re-read your post and you don't care about a 2/4 drop.
I will offer some advice. I thought about doing the 3/5 without drop spindles and now I'm glad I didn't. I can load one side of that truck pretty good slamming it into corners and I don't worry one bit about stability. That thing begs to get into the middle of a turn now.

BigDave, did you just use 1 inch drop and spindles?

Again the best thing about the spindle and springs is they are factory load rated. I can still put my 850 lb riding lawn mower in the bed, pull a trailer, and not worry about banging the frame. I also used the opportunity to install cross-drilled, slotted rotors and new front calipers. Stops real quick now!
