restore seatbelts?
How do you, or what do you do to restore seatbelts?
I have a set of orig. seatbelts that i bought used from a board member a while back, and need to freshen/ brighten them up a bit. I was planning on cleaning them, but can you redye them? They are blue seatbelts just a little faded and worn. I have a friend who dyed his seatbelts, black, they look good, but I wasn't too sure about blue, and what dye to use. thanks for the replies |

Best bet is to stop in or call a fabic store, the big ones like Jo-annes are out here in the NW. Most of the ladies that work in there know their stuff from A-Z. They are into fabics like we are into pickups. They can tell you how to dye & set the color so it won't fade or bleed off.
