Ho close can my exhaust be to my E-brake cables
I am hoping to bend my pipes 90 degrees to make stacks on my 72. But when I was laying under it the other day to check it out. I noticed that the e-brake cables might get in the way. Is it ok to almost have your exhaust rubbing against them or should I find a different place to put them?

If i were you, i would think about rerouting your cable, mainly because the exhaust system will vibrate pretty good. If your cable where to rub directly against the pipe, somewhere down the line you might have problems.
Do you plan on modifying the exhaust yourself, or do you plan on having a muffler shop do it for you?

I plan on doing all the work on this truck myself. It doesn't look like it will be to hard to re-route my exhaust back a bit. There is a cross member right there, but I should still be able to get around it.
