Complete 79 front clip from Burban

Hey All,

We finally got the motor out of the Burban,

We pulled the front clip off as one unit so I am going to offer it here for sale.

This is basicall the entire front clip still bolted together.

Both front fenders are in really good shape.

The core support has the standard rust under the battery.

It has the headlights in it that work

Grill has some good headlight trim and there is a good dent or two in the grill surround. The bumper would be driver quality, few spots here and there dinged or dented.

The Battery tray is there and has some rust on it but still holds well and does not look terrible.

The hood has the standard 70 chevy hood rust along the front edge.

I will start this at $150.00 OBO.

I have to go to Houston area this weekend to pick up a shortbed frame so I could deliver it along the way

I will also trade this for

BBC or SBC parts.... 67-72 parts.... Tools... Stereo...

Whatever..... you may have.

I will post pics on the thread tomorrow evening. And as said will deliver along the route to Houston on Saturday so if you want it let me know.

I have soem other parts if you are interested PM me with what you need.

Best regards,

Stace

I do have the 12 bolt. I may need to useit but will not knows until after this weekend.

I will put you onto it first if I do not use it.

It is a good 12 bolt and I think it is a posi unit. The burb is a trailering special and has some huge leaf springs on it as well. plus the big back brakes.

Regards,

Stacey

Any idea what kind of BBC parts you may have?

It is raining like a dog here. If I get brave I will scoot under the burb to look over the rear end and post up the ratio and posi info.

Stace

Stacey- I've got a 360? BBC out of a big truck. It's complete from intake to bottom pan minus the valve covers. I'm using the block and 4 pistons and rods for another project. The heads, intake, crank, other misc parts. are not going to be used.

On the axle the gearing would be great if they were 3.73 but if not you can keep the guts as I have a 3.73 gear setup with gov-loc. I just need a donor axle for me to get resetup and then get rebuilt drum to drum for fresh axle.

Here are some pics of the front clip

Note the front of the hood again has some rust.

Also note on the pics of the left front grill the dent in the grill.

Dashpad and tilt column with key if anyone is interested

Dashpad and tilt column with key if anyone is interested.

Dashpad has a couple of cracks by the speaker but otherwise is pretty nice.

Tilt column is very tight without the wheel or with if I have another one in the closet.

Oh... The front bumper while not perfect is better than I thought it was. In the above pics you can see it pretty good.

Hey Jon,

Could be, I just went for a walk outside and I am to much of a wimp to crawl under it in this weather (don't laugh dudes from up north... I am Texas climatized).

May have to drain it and pull the cover to see if it is a Posi and for sure on the gears.

Best regards,

Stacey

Hey Frank,

Still ran like a champ when pulled. I drove that thing all over the metroplex numerous times without a hitch.

Ran great.

Best regards,

Stacey

Dash pad I will sell cheap since it has the cracks.... How about $25.00 OBO

The tilt column with key and padded wheel I will sell for $105.00 OBO if I have the extra wheel at my house. Without the wheel I would sell it for $85.00 OBO

Let me know asap if this will work as I am heading to Houston tomorrow morning.

We can meet somewhere near there. I am heading to Rosenburg early early.

Let me know. This would save shipping charges and be easier on all of us.

Regards,

Stacey

The dash pad and front clip are spoken for.

I still have the column left and some other parts I have not listed.

I pulled the column this evening and it is in very good shape. I will leave the wheel on it as I found my other wheel which was given to me by a friend. It has the keys in it etc. The shifter handle has some surface rust on it but the rest of it is nice. The tilt is very tight and the blinkers cancel and everything.

Low 84, I am actually driving right through Bryan tomorrow morning. So if you are interested in the tilt with wheel make an offer. I will bring it with me.

I will PM you my cell number.

Regards,

Stacey
