nos 68 gm stainless side trim

do any of you guys(and gals) run into nos gm side stainless much? does it have any more value than the repop stuff? It is out of the area so will be a little while before I will be able to see it, just wondering if it was rare and aprox value for 68 both sides, the repop trim is about $530 for the set w/clips, any info helpful, thanks

I had a complete set of NOS LWB 67-68 trim about a year ago, sold it for $600.

I wish it was stainless...but, it is just aluminum and that's why it fades and can't be polished very well.

I am waiting on my repro to be here. It is back ordered. I understand it is good quality. I would like NOS but didnt seem to be able to find it except a piece at a time and then I wasnt sure I could find it all. The repro is a "kit" and should all match.

Ans yes it is Aluminum not SS that would be nice though.

price is one difference, also, I started collecting NOS trim for my 67, but after comparing the new repop to NOS, the NOS pieces were duller then the new pieces(even when they were still in packaging, and if you mix the new with NOS on your truck, you will see the difference. I sold my NOS pieces to buy a full set of new trim.
