Used

They are used and preped as mentioned. I did not do the prep. Bought project as it is and looking to sell some of it to recoup some $$ for another project. Need to get priorities straight one of these days.

Might be willing to use as part trade on 72 GMC stepside driver!! I never did hear back on last PM or email.

shipping

Wow, if I could quit my day job and get into the shipping buiness I could sell all day long.

Seriously though, as I mentioned and have had numerous emails about shipping, its not practical for me as a hobbiest without any shipping connections to crate this big stuff for safe economical shipping.

Can those who ship this big stuff tell me how often this bigger stuff gets shipped and how they do it reasonably quick and cheap?

I have sold a couple of big items but in both cases I believe buyer had good discounted shipping connections and they arranged it all. That I can deal with.

Not trying to be uncaring, its just how I see it working for me.

just to give you a idea for shipping, try freightquote.com,yellowfreight,roadway, or the company I work for Oak Harbor Freight Lines. Keep in mind it's allways cheaper shipping from a business and going to a business, no resident fees apply, have the freight dropped off at a terminal and have the purchaser pick it up at the other terminal. Those are just a few things to consider.

Doors

I would consider those doors if you shipped them greyhound . You would have to box them up and take them to a bus station .

I would like to get the drivers side door. Does it have any hinge damage? That's were mine is in trouble. Would you ship greyhound to louisville, ky? It should cost around $55 for one door. I also have a restored white face tach cluster that I would be willing to trade for the door and some money from you if that interests you at all. If you are ok with the shipping let me know very interested in the driver side door. Randy

doors and shipping

I am trying to avoid the extra work right now to ship the big parts. Fear and experience that they could get damaged also keeps from wanting to ship. I really want to keep at least the 2 doors together and hope to sell as package with cab, hood and fenders. I get many requests to ship. I guess I should come up with a new set of prices to include some time for me to package and ship but my spare time is minimal. My prices usually are as-is where is. I also offer to anyone if they want to arrange crating and pickup I would be more than willing to work through that with them. If it takes 1-2 hrs of my time to crate and take to shipper then it takes incentive out of it for me. I hope everyone understands.

thanks for inquiries. If I ever get a spare day it would probably be worth my learning how to get this done.

thanks and I understand, but if you don't sell them let me know. I have shippied a lot of big parts through greyhoung with no problems at all. Just a though for you for future transactions. Their shipping prices are the best I've found. Thanks again and keep me in mind. Randy

All the parts in the post look appetizing, but I'm afraid I still want that maroon SWB you have, lol! I won't settle for anything less!

Sounds like all is well with you Bob- I'm taking a break from my 67 and still debating on selling it now that I've got this 91 S-10. Of course I'm always up for a trade, hint, hint.

Ttt

PRICED TO SELL NOW. 68 cab, 2 fenders, 2 doors and hood. $1000 if picked up by 3/08.

I would also consider selling the rolling 67 swb frame with cragar mags, PS box setup, 5 lug rear, 5 lug front, 4 new lowered springs and new lowered spindles for $1200. Packaged with above for $2000.

I need the space and cash now. If it doesn't sell now I will be continuing to improve for my use in future, next phase will add lots of value but my time and money are being spent elsewhere for next few months.

drop me an email if interested.
