$25 reward for finding me a tool box door
I am looking for a new tool box door. I would love one of the plastic ones that were made for a while. but, I would settle for one that is rust free. Big order I know, but its worth a shot.
If someone can find me a door that I end up buying, ill give you a $25 finders fee. thanks

Hey John,
How can I get ahold of that door. I will send you a PM to see what we need to do to get the ball rolling. Does it have any of the hardware so I can see what kind of mounting strength it needs. I have several ideas on how to go about making it will take a bit of experimenting to get it just right. Regards, Stacey |

Oh, and if you do end up buying the one from Dennis, you can keep your money. The offer is cool, but to me this board is all about helping people.

Yeah... Lets try to build the damn things.
Worth a shot. I hate to do it but I am going to spend money on a door I do not even need just to see if I can build it or not. I will keep you posted. Regards, Stacey |

Hey MtDave,
Do you have a digicam? COuld you take a pic of the latch mechanism? I would be interested in a different way to latch these things too. I have a line on a door, and the inner toolbox. I really need the whole deal to make this work or at least to come up with the best methods. It may take me a little while to get this rolling as the products can be expensive. I will keep you posted. But please post a few picks if you can. Thanks Stacey |

Thanks John, and Dave.
Hopefully we will get something useable for this deal. I make no promises but will work on it to see what we can come up with. I may be posting some topics once I get setup asking questions about the door. I have alot of ideas just from projects I have done in the past. May take three or four runs at it to make one work. Regards, Stacey |

i bought a N.O.S. door off ebay several months ago for $435.00 . it was a stupid amount of money but it's only the second N.O.S. door i've seen in over 20 years of messing with these trucks. i too would be interested in a fiberglass door if you get them perfected. good used ones are getting real hard to find around here anymore. all my trucks have toolboxes on them so i grab any useable ones i come across. the other thing hard to find is good hinges.
