Toolbox Option
Was looking at a '72 Longhorn today with the nice toolbox option in the bed. I was wondering when that became an option in these trucks.

interesting...I see no mention of it in the 67 - 69 books...I know it was avalible in 70...I have the hole left over from one in the longhorn.
Anyone have a 69 or older truck with a tool box? |

Andy, I looked in the sales brochure...like that is the last word (LOL) but it is not shown in any of the pics and they usually try to show the neat stuff in those. I was thinking about grafting one into the 50th but if it is going to be a 100 pt. there will be no chance! The Longhorn I was looking at today had just about every option except the tach dash! It had a perfect glove box door and the option sheet was spotless! The rest of the truck was excellent too except the big front end collision damage and bent frame...SOUND FAMILIAR? I'll go find a picture of it.
