shift indicator interchange?
What years will swap? I have a '70 non-tilt. I have found several online that advertise 71-72. I found another that shows a 67-72. Is 71-72 the same or is it different?

67 - 70 was smaller and had a metal frame on the indicator.
71 & 72 was taller and plastic. It was body colored too...at least, column colered anyways. The vans of the same era have an indicator and pointer that are dead ringers for the 71/72 unit. Don't forget to grab the fiber optic cable to light it up at night. Fiber is good. |

So, I can swap the 71/72 pointer and indicator to my '70 column with no problems?

Sure can. If you have a good pointer left from that 70 column I would be interested in that part.
