New guy saying Hi

New to the forum been lurking for a while, tried to help a few. I wish I had this tool a long time ago! Lots of informitive people here. I've owned my 82 scottsdale since 7/1/89 and have replace everything I mean EVERYTHING! on it at least twice. I've enjoyed working on it though. I think I've got it right but it can always be improved! It's my daily driver and I tow a 10x6 box trailer loaded with tools with it.

Welcome.

It looks like it is the same color as mine. Well, the same color as mine would be if it had shiny paint!

The paint was about a month old when that pic was taken. I'd like to find a tailgate insert like slonaker's

Welcome from SW Washington State....

I have a 81 GMC, and just bought a 78 Chevrolet.

Little suggestion....you should redu the fuel filter. Many have had those break on the valve cover, you can guess the rest.

Would hate to see it happen to yours

The filter is farter from the valve cover than it looks it has about 1 inch of clearance all around it's been on there since 2002. I like being able to see the filter at a glance with a 23 year old gas tank. There's something I have'nt replaced, the gas tank!
Thanks for all the praise everybody! You guys have nice rides too.
