3/4 t. Coil to 3/4 t. Leaf
I have a 3/4 t. Eaton (?) 4.10 posi that I would like to put in place of my 3/4 t. Dana 60 open rearend. Anyone done this conversion? Looks like simple cutting and welding of brackets is all. Is the Eaton better or worse than the Dana? Any thoughts or comments?

thought- That eaton(corperate axle)w/ no-spin will be way better than an open dana 60. Then again drop-in lockers are available for the dana 60, or a full detroit could be installed.

That was my feeling but I want to make sure it is an upgrade before I go to all the effort to install it. I guess I could price out a locker before I go too far with this...maybe just sell the Eaton posi. My Dana was recently rebuilt so I know it is rock solid...but so is the Eaton.

Stick with the Dana and just pm me with your address and I'll come get that Eaton out of your way.
